Welcome

I have always loved creating stories and as I grew into adulthood my career path and hobbies gave me the opportunity to upskill and learn different forms of writing. As well as my own personal achievements of being a published author and writer of award-winning ten minute plays, I also have eleven years experience of working for a well-known rescue helicopter operation in various roles, including Communications Advisor. I have experience writing newspaper articles, radio scripts, press releases, fundraising marketing copy, blogs and more.

Like many of us, experiencing Covid made me stop and ask what I really wanted out of life. How could I achieve the work/life balance that many of us crave, yet still use the skills I have learnt along the way to engage in work I love? So ... after a little bit of gentle (well, forceful) persuasion from family and friends, I decided to create Far North Copywriting - thus named because my husband and I made the life-changing decision to move to the Far North of New Zealand on the eve of that first lockdown.
